We were very happy to welcome Connor Allen, Children's Laureate Wales 2021 - 2023, back to St. Joseph's RC High School on Wednesday the 21st February. 

Connor delivered workshops to pupils in Year 9, providing them with creative opportunities to find expressive outlets and to discuss their experiences, feelings, and issues with all things Anti-Social behaviour.  Unfortunately, ASB continues to be a significant area of concern in Newport, resulting in the need for a sustained focus on prevention and diversion.

We were very proud of the way in which the pupils had open and engaging conversations with Connor regarding ASB and their future. Well done Year 9!
