Mission Week

The week commencing the 8th December to 12th December, we celebrated Mission Week. This year’s theme was called “Freedom” which coincided with the Jubilee Year of Hope and is taken from Luke 4 where Jesus explains ‘he has come to proclaim freedom’.
Mission week reminded us that we are all called to share God’s love through our actions. Throughout the week, pupils participated in a variety of meaningful activities, including prayer services, classroom reflections, mission-focused projects and social justice initiatives. Christian workshops included Iconography led by the Art department. The RE department led in Christian meditation and letters of inspiration and hope. The music department had pupils rapping to the Jubilee hymn and International languages led a workshop called Keys to Freedom.
