Wellbeing Nature Walks

A little bit of fresh air in the grounds of Tredegar House.

Mrs Silver, Mrs Neale, Mrs Reese and Mrs Kent took a blustery walk to Tredegar House in search of blackberries. Armed with bags and boxes, all the pupils scoured the hedgerows for berries - we were a little late and had been beaten by wind and rain and squirrels, but we managed to find enough to make some jam. With the promise of tea and scones one day next term, the berries were washed and stored in the freezer ready for some jam making.

It was lovely to get out into the fresh air for a lunchtime stroll, and we hit the afternoon of lessons with positive wellbeing, enthusiasm and a few stories of muddy puddles and conkers!
