Professor Dame Angela Mclean, Chief Scientific Advisor for the Government, came to visit St Joseph's as part of her visit to South Wales. She was met by a welcoming committee which included Headteacher Mrs Jackie Jarrett, Year 12 and 13 computing students and the 2022/23 CyberGirls Wales competition Champions. Students were also privileged to take part in a presentation by the Welsh Chief Scientific Adviser, Professor Jas Pal Badyal on the influence of nature on modern engineering solutions.
